CR-use Plan Literacy is a complete solution for teaching the Literacy Hour from Year 1 to Year 6.

All information is available for use online, as well as in downloadable Microsoft Word files. Therefore, CR-use Plan Literacy can be used in a computer suite, on an interactive whiteboard and in the classroom.

Each year group’s plan is a complete scheme of work, covering the full range of fiction and non-fiction texts. All the teaching materials have been prepared by experienced teachers.

CR-use Plan Literacy is a scheme that can be used in its entirety or adapted and edited to cater for specific local needs.

CR-use Plan Literacy provides teachers with all the plans and resources required for delivering the Literacy Hour. It will give teachers the freedom to make maximum use of their expertise in raising levels of achievement.

Medium Term Plans, Short Term Plans, activity worksheets and all the necessary fiction and non-fiction texts are available through CR-use Plan Literacy.

Children can access the texts and activity worksheets via their own homepage. They simply enter the relevant code number from the Short Term Plan (provided by the teacher) and click on 'Go'.
